Mission City Outlaws: 2026-27 Season Preview

The Outlaws enter the 2026–27 campaign looking to build on another successful run following a 28–15–1 regular season that culminated in a Final appearance against White Rock.

Mission City finished second in Harold Brittain Conference scoring with 190 goals and was third defensively, allowing 148 goals, in 2025-26. The Outlaws were supported by steady special teams, operating at 21.6% on the power play and 80.0% on the penalty kill.

PLAYERS TO WATCH

Alfie DeBruyn (D): Stepping into a bigger leadership role as Mission City’s captain, the 2007-born blueliner anchors the back end with a physical presence, a strong shutdown defensive game, and steady guidance both on and off the ice.

Ethan Raymond (F): Returning this season as an alternate captain, Raymond continues to grow into a vital heartbeat for the Outlaws. The 2007-born forward is driven by a relentless work ethic, high compete level, and willingness to handle the crucial details.

Saajan Gill (F): Gill is a skilled Langley Minor Hockey Association U18 product signed directly out of the PJHL Prospect Camp who brings an immediate offensive punch. The 2008-born forward has the ability to create high-danger opportunities in the attacking zone.

Bryce Boucher (D): Boucher is a hometown 2010-born defenceman who earned valuable experience during his affiliate player appearances last season. The Mission product caught the Outlaws coaching staff’s attention with his composure and competitive drive.

HOME OPENER: Saturday, Sept. 12 vs. Abbotsford Pilots
