North Van Wolf Pack: 2026-27 Season Preview

The Wolf Pack start 2026–27 aiming to turn things around following a quarterfinal playoff exit against Surrey in February.

While last year’s regular season presented challenges with a 12–29–3 record and a 7th-place conference finish (145 goals for, 196 against), special teams showed bright spots – particularly a power play that clicked at 21.5% (5th in the conference). Refining a penalty kill that sat at 73.4% will be an immediate priority as the club aims to leap up the standings.

PLAYERS TO WATCH

Lucas Davidson (F): Entering his final junior season as team captain, Davidson has been a premier offensive catalyst for the Wolf Pack over the past two years, racking up an impressive 127 points (59 goals, 68 assists) in 78 games. His value to the team both on and off the ice remains unmatched.

Ryan Tse (F): Tse is a dynamic sophomore who will play in all situations for North Van this season. Following a strong rookie campaign where the 2007-born forward potted 21 goals in 43 games, Tse returns with elite speed and vision to spearhead the Wolf Pack attack.

Cameron Hacker (F): A valuable newcomer arriving from the Milwaukee Junior Admirals U18 AAA program. The 2007-born Hacker brings a mature, high-IQ two-way game that provides immediate tactical balance and defensive responsibility.

Connor Green (F): A promising 2009-born power forward joining the squad from the Northwest Hawks zone program in the B.C. Elite Hockey League. With exceptional skating and reliable 200-foot awareness, Green is a hard-working player who willingly attacks the gritty areas of the ice.

HOME OPENER: Saturday, Sept. 12 vs. Aldergrove Ironmen
