A new era of development hockey in B.C. begins when the 2026-27 Pacific Junior Hockey League season gets underway on Thursday, Sept. 10. That evening, the Surrey Knights roll out the red carpet at the North Surrey Sport & Ice Complex to host the visiting Cloverdale Hockey Club, with puck drop set for 7:00 PM.
The opening night clash in Surrey was announced on Tuesday alongside the home-opening schedule for teams across the league.
Opening weekend action ramps up on Friday, Sept. 11 with a rivalry doubleheader. The Abbotsford Pilots open their home slate at MSA Arena when they take on the Mission City Outlaws at 7:30 PM, while the Aldergrove Kodiaks launch their campaign at the Aldergrove Community Centre against the Port Moody Panthers at 7:00 PM.
Saturday, Sept. 12 features a three-game schedule, led by a home-and-home reversal as the Mission City Outlaws host Abbotsford at the Mission Leisure Centre starting at 6:45 PM. Later that evening at 7:00 PM, the North Vancouver Wolf Pack welcome Aldergrove to Harry Jerome Community Recreation Centre, while the White Rock Whalers host Cloverdale at Centennial Arena at 7:30 PM.
The Port Moody Panthers open their home doors at the Port Moody Recreation Complex on Sunday, Sept. 13 for an early-evening meeting with Surrey starting at 5:15 PM.
Rounding out the initial slate of home debuts, Cloverdale hosts the home opener for its second PJHL campaign on Thursday, Sept. 17 when the North Vancouver Wolf Pack come to Cloverdale Arena for a 7:00 PM start.
