The Pacific Junior Hockey League has released the schedule for the 2026 preseason, featuring a 16-game slate that runs from mid-August through early September.
The preseason puck drop is Wednesday, August 19, when the Port Moody Panthers host the North Vancouver Wolf Pack at the Port Moody Recreation Complex at 8:00 PM.
Over three weeks of preseason games, coaching staffs will test incoming recruits, evaluate training camp rosters, and hope to build team chemistry ahead of the regular season. Key matchups across the 16-game slate include:
- August 19 (Opener): North Vancouver @ Port Moody — 8:00 PM (Port Moody Recreation Complex)
August 24 & 27: Surrey Knights host back-to-back home preseason clashes at Cloverdale Arena and North Surrey Sport and Ice Complex. - August 29 & 30: A big weekend slate featuring White Rock hosting Surrey and Cloverdale at Centennial Arena (3:30 PM both days).
- September 4 & 5: A home-and-home rivalry series between the Mission City Outlaws and Abbotsford Pilots to wrap up the preseason schedule.
