PJHL celebrates tremendous success of Canucks Alumni Golf Classic

It was a phenomenal day on the links as the Pacific Junior Hockey League, alongside the Fraser Valley Super League, proudly had a presence at this year’s Canucks Alumni Golf Classic on Monday. Being at the event allowed our hockey community to connect with distinguished Canucks alumni and dedicated sponsors for a day defined by great people and an unbeatable atmosphere.

From a PJHL perspective, having the privilege to be on-site and co-brand our initiatives alongside the Canucks Alumni Foundation was a major highlight. The Foundation does phenomenal charitable work across British Columbia, and being able to support an event of that calibre speaks volumes about our shared goals. The PJHL was incredibly proud and excited to stand with them, reinforcing our ongoing commitment to community engagement and making a positive local impact.

“Building great hockey communities starts with great partnerships, and we are incredibly grateful to stand alongside organizations that continue to give back and make a difference,” said Surrey Knights owner and Canucks alumni member John Craighead.

Bringing the PJHL’s presence to life at an event like this requires a dedicated team off the ice. The PJHL extends our deepest gratitude to major corporate sponsor Ora Fitness & Yoga. Their tremendous support, overall generosity, and contribution of top-tier prizes for our on-site activations made our time at the tournament an absolute hit. They consistently prove why they remain outstanding partners for both the PJHL and the FVSL.

We also want to send our sincere thanks to The Hilton Vancouver Metrotown and Bozzini’s in Surrey for stepping up with some amazing prize donations. Their support elevated the PJHL’s presence at the event and made the day that much more special for everyone involved.

Ultimately, the Canucks Alumni Golf Classic served as a perfect reminder of what teamwork off the ice can accomplish. The PJHL looks forward to building on these strong partnerships, expanding our positive impact across local hockey programs, and continuing to grow the sport in the Lower Mainland and across B.C.
