The PJHL has announced its Players of the Week for the week ending Oct. 27.

Teo Lin, Forward, Richmond Sockeyes – This is no typo; Lin’s name appeared in this space a week ago as well but his assault on the opposition continued over the three games that counted. Lin managed an assists in a 6-3 loss to visiting Delta but upped the ante the next time out with a hat trick, including a shorty to get Richmond on the board in a 6-3 home win over Mission City where he was 1st Star. The homegrown Richmond native was 1st Star again as he concluded his week with two goals, another one shorthanded, and a helper in an 8-4 road win at Grandview.

Grady Lenton, Forward, Delta Ice Hawks – After assists in three straight games, Lenton became a finisher in a big way last week with five goals in two games. He scored a goal each period for a hat trick, including the game-winner in the second, and took 1st Star in a 6-3 home win over Richmond. The hometown Delta product continued his finishing touch with two tallies, one of them a third-period shorthanded number, in a 6-0 road win at Coastal.

Lachlan Staniforth, Defenceman, Chilliwack Jets – Staniforth’s season with Chilliwack is really just beginning after a start to the campaign with WHL Kelowna. The rangy defenceman and Abbotsford native assisted on the opening goal in a 3-2 Jets overtime road win at Abbotsford and wrapped his week with a goal and a helper – both on the power play – and a 2nd Star nod as Chilliwack downed Poco 6-1.
