Will Huo, Forward, Richmond Sockeyes – After a month away with the WHL Seattle Thunderbirds, Huo returned to make a big impact for the Sockeyes. To start off, the young netminder made 35 stops, including all 15 in the middle frame, in a 4-3 home win over Grandview. The 6-foot, right-hand glove netminder was even better in his next start, turning away 47 of 48 pucks to earn 1st Star honours in a brilliant 2-1 road win over Poco.
Matteo Pero, Forward, North Van Wolf Pack – In his first action of the week, Pero was all over the scoresheet with a goal and three assists in a 6-5 shootout win over Langley and he followed that by notching a pair of goals, his 15th and 16th of the season, in another Wolf Pack shootout win, this one a 5-4 road victory over Port Moody.
