The PJHL has named its Players of the Week for the week ending Nov. 6

Lukas Ravenstein, D, Ridge Meadows Flames – Recently named to the British Columbia Hockey Conference (BCHC) Prospects Game, Ravenstein has recent results on the ice that prove he belongs there. The 6-foot-1 blueliner scored twice on the power play Nov. 3 to help the Flames to a 4-2 road win over Richmond. He followed that the next night with two more tallies plus a helper as Ridge Meadows outlasted Grandview in a 9-7 result. Ravenstein now has five goals and 10 assists in 14 games on the season.

Dylan Wormald, D, Langley Trappers – More offence from the defence was provided by Wormald as he piled up eight points in three games for the Trappers. Wormald had a power-play goal and an assist in a 5-3 loss to Richmond where he was 3rd Star and had the same score line the next game in a 6-1 road win over Abbotsford. The hometown Langley product wrapped his week with a goal and three helpers and another 3rd Star nod in a 9-4 win over Port Moody.

JJ Pickell, F, North Van Wolf Pack – After assisting on the opening goal in a 3-2 OT win over Aldergrove, Pickell broke out for two goals and two assists to cue the comeback in a 7-4 North Van win over Richmond. Pickell has now 15 points in his last seven games and is squarely in the middle of the front page of the leaderboard among PJHL scorers.
