The Pacific Junior Hockey League (PJHL) is proud to announce the establishment of a new Tier 2 Junior A franchise in Cloverdale, set to commence play in the 2025-26 season. This marks a significant milestone, reviving Junior A hockey in the community for the first time since the late 1970s.
The team will compete in its inaugural season under the temporary banner of the Cloverdale Junior Hockey Club, with a full community naming campaign launching throughout the 2025–26 season. Fans will have the opportunity to help shape the team’s permanent identity through public voting — a celebration of community ownership and spirit.

The final award of the 2024/25 PJHL season goes to none other than Zack LaGrange of the Ridge Meadows Flames — your League MVP! 🔥

LaGrange lit up the league with an incredible 106 points (44G, 62A) in 48 games — the first to break the 100-point mark since 2019. He capped it all off by helping lead the Flames to a Stonehouse Cup championship, earning 1st Star honors in the Game 7 clincher.

An unforgettable season for #97. Congrats, Zack — you earned it!

The crease belonged to him all season. Congratulations to Ronin Gerahty of the Grandview Steelers on being named the PJHL Best Goaltender of the Year!

In 2024-25, Gerahty stood tall as a cornerstone for the Steelers, putting together one of the most dominant seasons in recent PJHL memory. Over 30 games played, he posted a .910 save percentage, a 2.95 goals-against average, and 4 shutouts, leading Grandview to a strong campaign and earning the respect of teammates, coaches, and opponents alike.

Night after night, Ronin showed elite poise, athleticism, and leadership between the pipes. Whether it was a crucial penalty kill or a late-game stand, he came through in the clutch — making him a true game-changer for his squad.

This award is more than just numbers — it’s a recognition of the hard work, dedication, and passion Ronin brought to the game all year long.

Well-earned. Well-deserved.
