Williamson, Binette, and Black Earn POWs

The PJHL has announced its Players of the Week for the week ending Nov. 27.

Brendan Williamson, F, Chilliwack Jets – With a pair of four-point games for the week, Williamson now has 14 points in his last four games. Most recently, he had a goal and three helpers in a 7-1 road win over the Surrey Knights where he was named 3rd Star and followed that up with two goals – including the game-winner- two assists and a 1st Star nod in a 9-1 romp over visiting Port Moody.

Alex Binette, F, North Van Wolf Pack – Binette played the set-up man, letting his teammates pull the trigger as he accumulated five assists to help the Wolf Pack take both ends of a home-and-home set with the White Rock Whalers. The product of Whistler, B.C. assisted on the tying goal and the go-ahead marker in an 8-6 road win over White Rock and came back the next day to set up three goals in a 7-2 win on home ice.

Dylan Black, G, Langley Trappers – Black started both games on back-to-back nights for the Trappers and picked up his third shutout of the season plus a 1st Star nod in a 33-save performance, a 4-0 road win over the Delta Ice Hawks. The next night, it was 23 saves on 24 shots in a 6-1 home win over the Surrey Knights. Black posted 0.982 save percentage for the week to go along with a 0.50 goals-against average.
