Wolf Pack name Jollymore and Fournier alternate captains

NORTH VANCOUVER (July 29, 2020) –Β Jacob Fournier and Conner Jollymore will join Captain Ryan Stack as members the Wolf Pack leadership group as alternate captains for the 2020-21 season.

Both players are entering their final season of junior hockey and head coach Matt Samson is very excited to have them as alternates and be leaders in the dressing room for the newΒ season.

It will be Jacob’s third year with the Wolf Pack and in his previous 2 seasons he has been a staple at centreΒ on the top line feeding puck after puck to top goal scorers in Justin Lee, Lucas Barker, and Dominic Davis. He has reached the 40 assist plateau in each of his 2 seasons including 48 in 40 games this past season and Jacob also sitsΒ 2nd in assists all time by a Wolf Pack player. A locker room favourite for being known as one of the funniest teammates, it is clear he will be a great leader and role model both on and off the ice for the Wolf Pack.

For Conner it will beΒ his 2nd full season with the Wolf Pack. Since being acquired from the Langley Trappers during the 2018-19 season he has flown under the radar as a key contributor to the teams success while beingΒ a versatile forward for the Wolf Pack as he can play on anyΒ 4 lines plusΒ slot in on theΒ power play and penalty kill. Connor set career highs last season offensively scoring 12 goals, 9 of which were on special teams (6 power play/ 3 shorthanded) while picking up 31 assists. Deservingly Connor will don the “A” and have an increased role on the Wolf Pack this season andΒ no doubt he will be up for the challenge and succeed in his role.

The Wolf Pack still have one vacant assistant captain spot for the 2020-21 season and a player will be selected closer to the start of the regular season which is scheduled to beginΒ September 29.
