Noren, Adriano, Carniel are POWs

The PJHL has announced its Players of the Week for the week ending Sept. 24.

Nicholas Noren, Forward, Richmond Sockeyes – Noren’s sniping streak continues as the Vernon, B.C. native had a five-goal week. He had the first goal of the game and then the final two for Richmond in a 6-3 home win Sept. 21 over North Van where he was 1st Star. He followed that three nights later with two more tallies in a 6-4 win at White Rock to help the Sockeyes remain undefeated in regulation time.

Wendell Adriano, Forward, Aldergrove Kodiaks – With three multi-point games in a row, Adriano has taken over the Kodiaks’ lead in scoring. He had a goal and assisted on the OT winner to earn 1st Star in a 4-3 home win over Surrey and the next outing had a shorthanded goal and one helper as the Kodiaks sustained a narrow 5-4 setback at the hands of the North Van Wolf Pack

Matthew Carniel, Forward, North Van Wolf Pack – With a third-period goal in a 6-3 loss to Richmond, Carniel earned a 3rd Star nod to begin his week. The Port Moody, B.C. product took 2nd Star in the next outing after sparking a Wolf Pack comeback with another third-period marker in a 5-4 home win over Aldergrove.
