The PJHL has named its Players of the Week for the week ending Dec. 11.

Jake Thompson, F, Surrey Knights – Thompson earned a 2nd Star nod with an assist in a 3-2 setback to White Rock but put an exclamation point on his other outing for the week – a two-goal, two-assist showing on the road in a 7-4 victory at Chilliwack where he was named 1st Star. The Langley product has points in six of his last eight games.

Brad Collins, D, Surrey Knights – A pair of two-point games from the blueline for Collins was enough to attract the attention of the PJHL POW decision-makers this week. Collins had two helpers in a 3-2 to loss to White Rock and followed that with a power-play goal plus an assist in a 7-4 road win over Chilliwack.

Liam Bressette, F, Langley Trappers – Bressette registered an assist in helping the Trappers to a 5-0 home win over Abbotsford to begin his week’s work and upped his contribution the next game with two goals in the first period, including the game-winner on the man advantage, and a 1st Star nod in a 5-1 road win over White Rock.
