POWs: Jang, Huo, Cox

The PJHL has announced its Players of the Week for the week ending Nov. 26.

Colin Jang, Forward, Delta Ice Hawks – Jang racked up a seven-point outing in a 17-1 rout of Poco. He assisted on the winning goal, set up two more in the second and then scored all four of his own tallies in the final frame. The Coquitlam native was named the game’s 1st Star.

William Huo, Forward, Richmond Sockeyes – Scoring a goal each period, Huo recorded his first PJHL hat trick in an 8-2 home win over Surreywhere his first goal proved to be the game-winner. In a 10-3 road win over Chilliwack, Huo’s second-period goal again proved to be the decisive tally. The hometown Richmond product now has 10 goals and 12 assists in 22 games.

Lucas Cox, Forward, Grandview Steelers – Starting hot with a hat trick in his first game of the week, Cox led the Steelers to an 11-1 win over Aldergrove where he was the game’s 1st Star. The North Vancouver product notched an assist in a 6-3 home win over Aldergrove to conclude the week and is now averaging over a point per game this season.
